When I was younger, I loved to paint and always had a creative, artistic side. But as life got busier, I found less and less time to nurture that part of myself.
Career, homeownership, marriage, babies—all wonderful reasons to feel “too busy.” As many moms know, babies quickly take over your phone’s camera roll, and I felt a growing urge to capture more of these precious moments.
When my second little one was still a baby, I picked up our “fancy” camera, started taking classes, and poured my free time into learning and practicing—with my own little muses as inspiration.
Through this journey, I discovered a new creative outlet: documenting childhood, motherhood, and the beautiful, messy moments in between. It became more than just a hobby—it felt like a calling. And that’s how Sylvia P. Photography came to life.
